The Juventus squad welcomed a special guest to training on Tuesday as Timothy Weah's legendary father, George, paid a visit.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The two-time Serie A winner was presented with a signed shirt by manager Max Allegri and was greeted warmly by Juve staff and players, sharing a particularly fond embrace with his son's USMNT team-mate Weston McKennie. After the formalities it was out on to the grass where the Ballon d'Or winner cast a watchful eye over training at the club's Continassa complex.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Weah junior signed for the last summer from Ligue 1 side Lille and has played his part in helping Allegri's men back into title contention, despite not yet finding the back of the net. USMNT team-mate and close friend McKennie has been one of Juve's star performers this term, with his form earning him the offer of a contract extension with the Turin giants.
